COLD THERAPY APPLICATION
TO START Chill for: 20 minutes and apply.
BUILD THE CHILL
As you become accustomed to stronger cold therapy, chill for 1 to 2 hours and apply. If chilled for more than 4 hours, always let the pack sit for several minutes or until conformable
KEEP IN MIND
Always check pack temperature before application.
Let sit and reapply when temperature is suited to your comfort level.
Use CAUTION Always test pack temperature before application. If pack feels too cold, allow it to sit at room temperature for several minutes or more until pack is within your comfort range for application.
An optimal cold therapy session is not more than :10 minutes. Always wait at least :30 minutes in between cold therapy sessions or as medically prescribed.
We insist: Start by chilling LIPICE Gel Pack for :20 minutes. *Note that some freezers are set to different temperatures than others. :20 minutes in one freezer can be +/- in another. By starting at :20 minutes or less for your first use, you can quickly gauge what’s comfortable and what’s not. If LIPICE gel pack is too cold upon application, slowly remove the pack.
As with ANY cold therapy, prolonged use may cause injury.
